Random factoid... Five years ago on August 14, 2017 Pantone released a special color in honor of Prince called Love Symbol # 2. It was inspired by the color of his purple piano and was never meant for public use. ⁣

Did you know that up until recently there were only two August birthstones? ⁣
Peridot and Sardonyx.⁣
But in 2016, Spinel was added to the list. Known as a ruby look alike, spinel is most recognized as a dark red stone, but it can also appear in a wide variety of other colors including black. ⁣
These double heart earrings showcase the newest August birthstone and hematite ... and they need a better name than "hematite and black spinel earrings".⁣
If you're slightly nerdy like me, you might want to call these "The Doctor Who Earrings", but you wouldn't go through with it figuring that most folk probably wouldn't understand the reference. ⁣
However, if you DO get it, tell me why in the comments below and suggest a clever sort of name (Whovian or otherwise) for me. If more than five people respond, I'll do a drawing for a free pair. ⁣
